No Job is Perfect

I have written extensively about finding a job and career that has meaning; one that provides a high Psychic Salary™, one you love. But I don’t want to give the impression that the goal is land a perfect job; they simply don’t exist. There will always be aspects of the work one does that are necessary but not enjoyable, and occasionally downright unpleasant, just like other aspects of life. We don’t reside in a Garden of Eden, so there always going to be ups and downs. And since people aren’t perfect we can’t expect organizations to be perfect.
To my way of thinking, the key is to find work in an organization that while far from perfect, doesn’t sap your physical and mental energy to the point of burn out. To find work that you are proud of and to do it with people you respect and trust. They won’t be perfect, and neither are you. But together, doing something worthwhile as a team can be hugely satisfying and make going to work a joy rather than an unpleasant chore.
Do you want to look forward to going to work each day? Are you ready to get unstuck and take the first, most important step toward earning the Psychic Salary you’ve always wanted?
Email me to schedule a free discovery call and find out if we’re right for each other.
